The Space:

A few things to know before you arrive:

• The Historic Gem is one of three apartments in a historic triplex — you may occasionally hear light sounds from neighboring units, as you would in any well-loved old building. It's part of the charm.
• The person who made the reservation must be present for the duration of the stay.
• No parties or events. We're in a residential historic neighborhood, and our neighbors (and the building) deserve respect.
• No smoking indoors. The porch is yours.
• Care of the home: The Historic Emerald Gem is professionally maintained to a standard we're genuinely proud of. To preserve the quality of the linens, surfaces, and finishes, we ask that guests refrain from using bleach-based cleaning products during their stay — our team handles all deep cleaning between guests. We also ask that incense, essential oil diffusers, and similar fragrance items be left at home; they can be difficult to clear before the next guests arrive and may affect those with sensitivities.
• Please bring personal toiletries — we provide the essentials to get you started, but plan to supplement for longer stays.
• Interested in booking the whole house for a larger group? The other two apartments are listed separately under our profile — reach out and we can help coordinate.
• A rental agreement is required prior to check-in. We'll send it ahead of your arrival — concise, clear, and in place to protect both parties.
• No pets are allowed.

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 60 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
