🔏 Security Deposit: A $200 refundable security deposit is required for each reservation.

🏢 Triplex Living: The Emerald Gem is one of three apartments in a historic triplex. As with any well-loved old building, you may occasionally hear light sounds from neighboring units—it’s all part of the charm!

👤 Primary Guest: The guest who made the reservation must be present for the duration of the stay.

🚫 🎉 No Parties or Events: Because we are located in a historic residential neighborhood, we maintain a strict no-parties policy out of respect for our neighbors and the building.

🚭 No Smoking Indoors: There is no smoking indoors, please. However, the porch is all yours.

🧼 Care of the Home: The Historic Emerald Gem is professionally maintained to a standard we're genuinely proud of. To preserve the quality of our linens and finishes, please refrain from using bleach-based cleaning products during your stay—our team handles all the deep cleaning between guests.

🌿 Fragrance-Free Space: To keep the air clear and comfortable for guests with sensitivities, please leave incense, essential oil diffusers, and similar fragrance items at home.

🧴 Toiletry Checklist: We provide the essentials to get you started! For longer stays, please plan to bring along your personal toiletries to supplement.

📝 Rental Agreement: A rental agreement is required prior to check-in. We’ll send it ahead of your arrival—it’s concise, clear, and in place to protect both parties.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 60 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
